The Enfócate Dance Group is created to develop a cultural work from artistic manifestations and dance as a complement to articulation, focused on Cuban dance genres such as danzón, mambo, son, rumba, chachachá, among others, as well as typical folk dances of other countries.

It has been an upward manifestation from the movement of amateur artists, so it is distinguished by the systematicity and the approach it has had from the choreographic work, interest in popular and traditional dances, expressions that go with our identity reaching a sense of belonging that involves the formative work in adolescents and young people.

They received the provincial category in the dance demonstration and they are prepared to receive the national one.

Workshops are developed to promote Cuban culture, its most significant characteristics and values, achieving inspiration and motivation from dance with a psychological contribution.

Undoubtedly, dance has contributed to promoting the participation of cultural life, the preservation of the traditions enjoyed by the national and international public, facilitating that this cultural process remains linked to community development, achieving a learning space, as well as promoting the knowledge of the personalities of Cuban culture.

It has been an attractive manifestation in its members with a potential promoted from the base at an early age, and the management of the sociocultural project.

Focus has arrived to continue walking along the roads, take a well-formed work where creativity and gender rescue remain in the repertoire. To promote the integral development from the culture.

This dance group was created in August 2014, receiving awards at different events and festivals.

They defend the work of the neighborhoods, achieving a deep approach with the inhabitants, as well as interrelate with other social, environmental and economic spaces.

They received from the National Council of Houses of Culture the Sara Lamerán 2021 Scholarship Award, a scholarship that is given to sociocultural projects with dance actions.
